Digital Product & Business Systems

I turn unclear requirements into usable products, workflows, and tools.

Across enterprise delivery, service operations, and SME digital systems, I bring structure to messy work: mapping the problem, aligning stakeholders, and turning decisions into delivery.

Building the operating layer small businesses were missing

Across 8+ SME engagements, I rebuilt supplier records, booking workflows and request tracking into systems small teams could run without me, including a 50-supplier, 3,000-product records rebuild at a Dublin music retailer.

Notes

Things I keep noticing in messy work.

About

For a decade I've worked at the messy edge of organisations, where the brief is fuzzy, records don't line up, and nobody quite agrees what done looks like. Enterprise programmes, a two-location service business, and a string of digital products for small teams.

The thread is the same throughout: take ambiguity, give it shape, and hand back something a team can actually run. An MSc in Digital Innovation (UCD Smurfit) sits underneath the practice.

Recent institutional work

At UCD, I supported scholarships and funding operations, creating SOPs and Google Apps Script automation to make reviewed-record communications clearer, faster and more consistent.
